Hello and welcome to our site. Our names are Tana and Rod Fowler and this is Fowlers Hill Country Miniatures web site. We are nestled among the huge oaks in the heart of the rolling Texas Hill country, just 25 miles north of San Antonio.

After several years of showing Arabians and a love for horses since the beginning of time, we abandoned the city life and headed for the hills and pleasures that only the country can bring. Then our discovery of these little "miniature Arabian look-alikes" and the story began!

We are a small farm situated on 5 acres of land. Small herds of Axis and white tailed deer can be seen visiting our pastures. Our horses number 22 at present, and they are handled daily with much love and care. Due to our limited acreage, our goal is to produce quality rather than quantity. We are striving to breed correct, refined, and beautifully colored miniature horses. You will find many well-known bloodlines among our broodmares such as Rowdy, Egyptian King, Bond, X Calibers Little Navajo, Komokos, FWF, Dell Terras, Bond Snippet, Boones Little Andy, Freemans Star, Flaby Supreme, and Dippers Duffy to name a few.

We are always expecting foals in the spring, sires include Flabys Medicine Man, Mini V Raider Light Rapid Repeater, and Millers Sample This Funny Face. We are so pleased with our Medicine Man foals and looking forward to each years new spring arrivals....Medi is putting beautiful heads, blue eyes, conformation, refinement and color on his offspring. Many of our mares bred this year carry OVERO genes.
